Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a bilingual immersion school where our students learn in both English and Spanish.

When our kids leave us in eighth grade they are bilingual and bi-literate.

We are in the heart of Michigan's largest city, yet in a world of our own. We are surrounded by caring parents and supportive local businesses. Our staff works together as a family and we treat the kids like our own. Our students are often the first generation to attend college in their family! It is such a joy to see them blossom and know that we were a part of that.

We have parental support like I have never seen in our district. Parents line the halls for meetings and truly support us in our efforts. I love the kids! They are an amazing group of students. They love art, aren't afraid of trying new mediums, and love learning. What more could I ask for from my students as their teacher?

My Project

Amaco Potter's Choice glazes are high quality glazes. My kids are awesome artists who deserve a high quality finish to their one clay project they get to make each year.

Please help their artwork shine with beautiful glazes that will last a lifetime!

The kids look forward to their clay project and putting low quality glaze on a project would be like putting ketchup on filet mignon, you just wouldn't do it because it would ruin it!

Our littlest artists make pinch pots that their parents will keep a lifetime, please help them to make their artwork shine by helping them glaze it with glaze worthy of their artwork.
