Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school operates a dedicated store aimed at motivating our exceptional students to uphold our SOAR Behavior Matrix standards. Points are earned by demonstrating safety, taking responsibility for their actions, achieving success, and showing respect. These points can then be redeemed at our SOAR Store for various items and experiences. Additionally, we regularly host raffles featuring enticing prizes throughout the academic year. Students have the opportunity to utilize their accrued SOAR Points to acquire raffle tickets for a chance to win these exciting rewards. It is my objective to continually expand the selection of items available at our store to better cater to the interests of our students. Transitioning to middle school can present challenges, but our Eagles are consistently rising to the occasion, embodying our school-wide expectations on a daily basis.
