Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in our class are resilient, hard-working, enthusiastic, dedicated and most importantly, kind-hearted. In our Special Day class, students know the importance of persevering through learning challenges by trying their best and accepting new challenges as we come across them. As schools are receiving less funding year after year, students' access to an abundance of data-based resources and small group instruction. Nevertheless, my students are always eager to work with the resources we have that are given to us by our school.

Acquiring 21-century​ resources, students will have access to instruction that can enrich their learning journey.

Serving a full-inclusion classroom, students have different abilities and needs, who will need to be fulfilled with different presentations of contents and visuals and learning tools. Having an abundance of resources for our small group instruction is essential for our students' learning.

My Project

With two full classes, we need resources to make visual content large and accessible, as well as to print the most modern visuals and academic resources that would best benefit our students. With the right tools in our classrooms, we can continue our highly structured instruction, for both special education and general education K-2 students.

Our full inclusion class is innovative!

Students work with their peers to benefit from language modeling, behavior models and academic rigor. We want to begin building up our classroom with the latest technology, and 21st-century data-driven instruction.

We create personalized intervention and our instruction will strengthen with these materials.
