This year is my 21st year in education. It is a blessing to spend my days at this beautiful community school in the spectacular mountains of Western North Carolina. My drive to work is full of beautiful landscapes. My school is kindergarten through fifth grade, with fewer than 150 students.
We may be small, but our dreams are big.
The community is deeply invested in the education and nurturing of each student. Economic status does not provide a barrier to learning; instead, it provides a challenge this school accepts on a daily basis. With your help, we can give these deserving students everything they need!
My Project
We just got a Cricut Maker and now we need some accessories to take it to the next level. With the Cricut EasyPress we can make shirts and bags for our staff and students! The EasyPress does professional iron-on results in 60 seconds or less. This is perfect for busy teachers to make adorable matching school spirit shirts for our students! The tools and requested vinyl will give our students the opportunity to make and create. Students can create templates and patterns and then upload them to the Cricut Maker. The maker will then cut out vinyl, fabric, wood and even leather! The requested tools and mat will be used to help these creations come to life! Imagine how much fun students will have designing shirts and other 2D creations and then see them come to fruition!
