it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My special needs high school math students learn in a special way. That doesn't mean they can't succeed. They can and they need to. Math is a necessary life skill. My students' approach toward learning is different. Added to that are the challenges of being a student in a 100% high-needs urban district and I want to make doubly sure my students don't "fall through the cracks." They deserve success!
These tools and books really help facilitate learning math for my special needs students.
My students learn in a more hands-on, scaffolded, repetitive style than typical learners; although anyone can benefit from this style. The materials would help my students' learning considerably.
