When you enter my classroom you will be greeted with smiles, warm hugs, and contagious energy. My students are excited to learn, willing to help anyone, and show up ready to work hard each and every day. We consider ourselves a family in our classroom, and we work hard to show up for each other each day.

They also have great personalities and love life. I look forward to spending my days with these amazing kids. They include everyone, spread joy and wonder, and they encourage everyone to do their best. It is a place where I want to show up and give my all each and every day.
My Project
In my classroom we have a lot of goals we are hoping to reach this year, especially with math. The curriculum in third grade is very rigorous, and the students step up to the challenge each year.
Third grade is a transition year where the academics can be overwhelming for some students.
They need support and compassion to make it through this rough transition. This is the first year with 1-1 Chromebooks in my classroom, which has been a wonderful way to engage students through the use of technology. We need headphones that are working in order for the students to effectively utilize the programs we are using. The math manipulatives and materials I am requesting will also help with some of the big concepts we cover in 3rd grade.
