In my classroom we have a lot of goals we are hoping to reach this year, especially with math. The curriculum in third grade is very rigorous, and the students step up to the challenge each year. Third grade is a transition year where the academics can be overwhelming for some students. They need support and compassion to make it through this rough transition. This is the first year with 1-1 Chromebooks in my classroom, which has been a wonderful way to engage students through the use of technology. We need headphones that are working in order for the students to effectively utilize the programs we are using. The math manipulatives and materials I am requesting will also help with some of the big concepts we cover in 3rd grade.
