My Students

Eighty-five percent of students in our school receive free or reduced-price lunches. Our school lacks the resources to fund extras in our classrooms. Our district is located in a rural area. That, along with the high poverty rate, makes it difficult for parents to provide extra materials and experiences for their children.

I am always looking for unique ways to give my students new opportunities to explore and learn.

I want them to be excited about school and about learning new things.

My Project

The project We Can Bee Programmers will provide an exciting opportunity for our kindergarten classroom. The project consists of Bee shaped robots that are programmable. Also included in this project is a starter set for the robots and a docking station for charging multiple robots at one time. In the starter set, there are several mats that the students can use to create programs for the robots. There are also some clear mats so that we can make our learning challenges.

Bee-Bot is an engaging classroom robot for early-age kids to learn STEM with a variety of cross-curricular activities.

This colorful, easy-to-operate, and friendly little robot is a perfect tool for teaching sequencing, estimation, problem-solving and teamwork.
