This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next to the Multipurpose Room, our School Library is the largest room on campus. We have a very high ceiling and receive the western sun. When we have double 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes, we can easily have 40 - 50 humans in the room. It becomes very stuffy, especially in the afternoon with the sun shining through.

These two oscillating floor fans will allow the air to circulate for a more comfortable and healthy time in Library.

While fans may not seem like a classroom basic, these fans are basically needed to keep us comfortable and learning in our active School Library. During August and September when we head back to school and outside temperatures are literally above 110 degrees, the air conditioner needs all the help it can get to keep our Library and its learners cool.
