Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our pre-K students can enjoy time in the gym every day!

Our students need a pickleball net and soft playball to maximize their time in the gym.

The pickleball net will be used for many different team-building and gross motor activities, including pickleball. The balls are used daily for the students to play individual and team games. They can help our students learn to throw and catch, kick a ball, shoot at the basketball goal, or play other games that promote academics. Gym time is fun for our students to learn motor skills and social skills and even promote academic reinforcement.

Academics are promoted with games such as letter bowling or counting when they are keeping score or keeping track of how many goals they have scored!
