Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember the first time you asked why does this work that way or what causes things to look a certain way? These are questions that I am asked on a daily basis.

I teach a group of inquisitive students who attend a title one school.

Most of my students come from a low economic area, but they never let that stop them from finding success. My students understand that the best way to learn new information is to ask questions and search for their answers.

My Project

I am asking for an investigation center. This will allow me the opportunity to help my students better understand the scientific method. It will allow us to perform experiments which will help them to understand things that are happening in the world around them. I have also asked for four books that will allow me to get my students in the habit of reading nonfiction material. It will also allow the students to be introduced to topics that we aren't required to teach, but may peak their interests.

Your donations to this project will allow my students to have an opportunity to design experiments and test them out.

It also will allow me the opportunity to broaden their minds about science. I like to show them more than what our state requires them to learn at a particular.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
