We Are Calm and Ready to Learn!

Help me give my students various weighted stuffed animals to help them calm their bodies.

My Project

Many of my students struggle to regulate their emotions without tools. The weighted stuffed animals in this project will help them to calm down when they are feeling sad and upset.

My students know about the Zones of Regulation and their feelings.

They are able to tell me how they are feeling and why. Where they struggle is when they have to calm themselves down so that they can join the rest of the class.

My students occasionally miss their parents. The weighted animal that goes around their neck and hugs them will help them to calm down.
