Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students all come from a diverse backgrounds. What I love about my students is their eagerness to learn. Many of them being first time students and Kindergarten is a wonderful and joyous year that I hope to make memorable!

My Project

The items I have requested will help students with learning new things about science and social studies. The rug will fit in with the nature theme of science. I believe that when students can feel comfortable in their learning space it makes a world of difference. When your senses are triggered and you have a new and exciting space you feel better about learning! This will help my students out so much and it will give us the science and social studies curriculum that we currently do not have in our classroom.
