My Students

I strive to create a classroom as comfortable and inviting as possible in order to shape and mold my first graders to become 21st century learners, to keep their confidence high during the school day, and have a soft place to sit while learning. Learning can be fun and exciting if the students feel safe within the classroom.

I want my classroom to be the place they come to each morning, eager and ready to challenge themselves to be the best person they can be!

My Project

By receiving flexible seating choices, my students will be able to learn the best way they can by differentiating their personal learning style needs.

When children are given comfortable seating options, they are willing to put in the extra time it takes to learn how to read/write and become our future leaders.

Having carpet on the classroom floor instead of hard concrete or enjoying a soft bean bag chair instead of the basic child-size plastic chair, can make the biggest difference in their stamina for reading, learning and helping their precious minds grow each day. These flexible seating options would make a huge difference.
