By receiving these classroom needs, my students will be allowed to learn the best way they can by differentiating their personal needs. Many on my little first graders come from illiterate homes who put little priority on learning to eduacation. When students are allowed to sit comfortably wherever they want in the classroom, they are willing to put in the extra time it takes to learn how to read/write and become our future leaders. Having carpet on the classroom floor instead of hard concrete, enjoying a soft bean bag chair instead of the basic class child-size plastic chair, can make the biggest difference in their stamina for reading for pleasure and helping their precious minds grow each day.
