Waves and Wobbles!

Help me give my students hands-on learning with manipulatives and the use of the wobble chairs, so that they may be able to continue meeting their reading goals!

My Students

The students that I have the pleasure of teaching this year are such hard workers. At the beginning of the year, I had over half of my class not reading on grade level. In all my 15 years of teaching, I have never seen those numbers. They all worked and progressed so much this year. They are determined, goal-setting, and focused on their learning. They have tracked their progress and they are seeing the benefit of their hard work.

My Project

Children learn with the use of manipulatives ,and I am in need of fraction pies. It allows them to have a visual and utilize the fractions for better understanding. The tuning forks are a unique way of showing sound waves. The students will experiment with the forks and various liquid mediums.

The wobble chairs are perfect for small group instruction!

While I have taught first, second, and now fourth grade, they may even have more wiggles. They allow the students to focus on the tasks at hand while getting their wobbles out without being disruptive.
