Wave of Knowledge: Surfing Through Learning with Boogie Boards

Help me give my students boogie boards to more sustainably complete white board exercises in class by eliminating dry erase markers and erasers.

My Project

The use of white boards is a daily practice in my classroom. Whiteboard exercises allow me as their teacher to see what students can do and serves as a flexible space for sharing of ideas. With our current use of traditional dry erase boards we have come across the issue of markers either drying out or staining the boards and erasers going missing. Students would frequently leave the rug to problem solve this issue with their learning tools which then reduces the time that they have to engage with the lesson or peers. By having an electronic tablet alternative - Boogie Boards, my students will not have to worry about these problems and instead have more time to focus on their learning
