My students need a digital camera, a printer and photo paper.

I teach second graders in an urban setting that is mostly from single parent homes, that have limited incomes and resources.

We do not have a camera that the students can use to create their own photos, we are studying water and it's effects on the earth and would like to capture water on film in it's many forms and ways we can conserve and protect our water.

A picture is worth a 1000 words and if we had a classroom camera, with a printer and photo paper we can create and publish our own photo journals on water preservation and conservation and become greener citizens ourselves.

You will make it possible for my students to become digital photojournalists,learning is hands on,student directed, and you will help create students who care about the environment and the world we live in.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
