Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic learners. They enjoy hands-on activities that show them how the world around them works. The children like interacting with each other as they explore the classroom environment. They make observations, predictions and draw conclusions based on the opportunities provided in the various learning centers.

These are energetic, creative and curious 3 to 5-year-old children, who are interested in their surrounding environment.

They are fascinated about learning new and different things. I am so excited to be able to provide this daily experiences for my students.

My Project

The children enjoy playing at the water table and show a curiosity for how water moves. The objective for my project is to help my students become aware of the importance of water and it's properties. The materials requested will support their learning experience.

They'll use these materials to predict, observe and explain (POE strategy) their findings as they study what happens when water is used in various activities.

They will also use the POE strategy to determine if various items added to the water will float or sink to block the flow!

This project will help make water investigation more deliberate and purposeful.
