This spring our class is learning about the life cycle of a seed. It is a perfect opportunity for us to plant and grow our own flowers and vegetables. We would start our seeds in the classroom and then, transplant them to our raised garden beds outside our classroom window.
Having plants to study firsthand is the best way to teach students about living things and plant biology.
As well as biology, using plants for lessons in subjects such as mathematics, science, and art is a great way to encourage your students to be involved. It not only educates them, it teaches them responsibility.
