This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our students live in low-income housing developments. They don't often have the space to play outdoors and explore the world around them. Because of this we spend as much time outdoors as we can. Learning about plant and animal life provides many benefits for our little ones. Plants and classroom pets teach children patience. Taking care of them give our children a sense of responsibility. It also provides sensory experiences and development.

Your donation will help our students actively learn about the life cycles of butterflies, frogs and plants. Just like the live animals and plants our students will observe growing and changing, our students are growing every day by learning about themselves, their environments and even their futures.
