My students come from a rural community where grit and hard work are shown every day on the farm, in their homes, and at school.

My Project

Our Junior High and High School Cross Country team is comprised of hard-working and dedicated individuals. Cross Country is not an easy sport. It requires mental and physical endurance as well as endless amounts of motivation to help each athlete cross the finish lines.

These Garmin Forerunner GPS Watches will allow our athletes to track the distances they run, calculate times during their runs, pace themselves during training as well as track their gait during their runs.

These devices will give our athletes a better understanding of their training which will allow them to perform better at Cross Country meets.
