Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are 24 four year olds, who are excited to learn and explore. Our community is a small rural town and most of us are socio disadvantaged. Our teacher likes to have us explore and create to see who we are on the inside and how far we can grow on the outside.

She lets us be independent thinkers and learners.

There are no limits to what we can achieve. Our school is a title one school and we all receive free breakfast and lunch. A few of our friends don't have computers or iPads at home.

My Project

What a better way to get the attention of all different learners who are in my room, then by having letters come alive by Studios Alive. Studios Alive's Letters alive Plus program is great for my students to hear and see letters/ sounds and sight words displayed in a new way.

Most of my students do not have computers.

Letters Alive allows my students to experience 3D technology that they may never have access to. Living in a rural area my students have limited access to resources than larger city schools.

Introducing my students to technology and incorporating learning our skills is a win win for everyone. Letters Alive is a great supplemental source that compliments the California Standards from my program.
