My kids live in a rural area of about 14,000 people. We are known for our agriculture, but that doesn't mean we are in anyway prosperous. In our small desert town, many of the families are struggling financially. I teach kindergarten to a wonderful group of 32 students. They are all eager to learn whatever is presented to them and have very inquisitive questions for me. I have not had a politer group of kids in my twenty-one years of teaching. They inspire me every morning with all their smiling faces and laughter.
