Each morning 20 loving and smiling faces walk through the door to begin their day in Kindergarten! They come in ready to learn and eager to see what the day is going to bring to them.
My students come from all different walks of life in our community.
I teach at a Title I school in a rural community in Northeastern, Colorado. My sweet students come to school not only to learn, but to receive love and attention. Each of them comes into my classroom with their own personal story and history, but together, we are a class full of love and laughter. Our class is a time to be unique and to forget the troubles that may occur outside the classroom door.
These kids are each a piece of me and the future of our community and country. I want to provide them with the best learning environment and experience they can have!
Students love to read and learn about new and exciting topics. Increasing our classroom library will allow for them to explore new titles, new topics and engage with their personal love of reading.
Building a love for reading at an early age, has a long lasting impact.
Our classroom library can become a place my students want to be in and a place they will drift away into their books and expand their knowledge and learning.
Each morning my students dive into books of all types and having new materials and books will give them more choices and opportunities to learn about the world around them and also to relate to topics near and dear to their hearts.
