My Project

What is the most requested area for free choice play? If you said the dramatic play area, you'd be correct. My students love our dramatic play area. They love playing dress-up, shopping, and running a restaurant. Watching my students pretend shows just how much they watch their grown-ups at home and mimic what they see.

The dramatic play area allows students to practice real-life skills and washing and drying clothing is something they need to learn is important for daily life.

Having a pretend washer and dryer will add to our dramatic play area and make it more like a real home.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
