This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

According to a recent USDA report, "13 million children are facing hunger in the United States today" (2022). When students are hungry it is very hard to learn. Food security hampers their ability to concentrate on their studies.

This project seeks to replenish our current food pantry by providing easy-to-make meals and ready-to-go snacks for our students during the school day, evenings, and weekends.

Providing a nurturing environment where every bowl served isn't just a meal, but a gesture of warmth and sustenance for young minds, creates a welcoming learning enviroment. Your donation ensures that our students have the necessary sustenance for academic achievement and overall well-being.
