My Project

I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of my students receive a free lunch. Many of my students do not have the best home life, yet they come to school with a positive attitude, hoping to learn and create a better future for themselves.

Many of my students walk to and from school each day oftentimes not dressed appropriately for the weather.

With the weather getting colder, I would like to gift them with the necessary hats, gloves, and scarves to keep them warm during these long walks.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
