Warm Hearts, Warm Heads: Winter Gear for Buffalo Students

Help me give my students warm coats, hats and gloves for our brutally cold winters here in Buffalo, NY.

Mrs. O'Hara PS 95 Waterfront Elementary School

Buffalo, NY Grades 3-5

My Project

I love how resilient, caring, and eager to learn our students are. However, Buffalo winters bring freezing temperatures, snow, and bitter winds that can make getting to and from school difficult for children who do not have adequate winter clothing.

Every student deserves to feel warm, safe, and comfortable during the cold winter months.

Our goal is to provide students with essential winter items, including warm coats, hats, and gloves, so they can better protect themselves from the harsh Western New York weather.

For some families, purchasing winter clothing for growing children can be a financial challenge. By creating this winter clothing initiative, we hope to help meet those needs and ensure that students have access to the essentials they need to stay warm during the winter season.

Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. With your support, we can help children arrive at school ready to learn, participate in outdoor activities when appropriate, and enjoy greater comfort and confidence throughout the winter.

Thank you for helping us care for our students and for supporting the Waterfront Elementary School #95 community. Together, we can help make this winter a little warmer for the children who need it most.
