Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each morning, I greet my students with a hand shake. Many of my students have freezing cold hands now that winter is here which is why I’d like to get them a set of gloves to wear in the morning.

It is my goal to supply our scholars with gloves this season as they navigate these cold winter months.

Each year, we know that students and teachers are faced with the task of not just wrapping up the school year, but also adding state testing to the mix. My students are bright kids and we're doing our best to prepare every day, not just for the tests, but for the necessary skills for the years to come. I will be printing motivational notes to place on their desk each morning to help keep them motivated, along with a snack.
