My students need such items as the Sentence Building Magnet Set, among other language arts material to strongly assist my special needs students' writing.
My students not only come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but with unique perspective of life. I teach a special day class grades 1-4. Their needs consist of areas of: autism, specific learning disability, language and speech impairment, other health impairment, emotionally disturbed, and visually impaired.
Their uniqueness deserves extra attention and fun filled projects that keep their minds stimulated!
With funded projects, my students have a better chance of understanding the lesson that is being taught! We can do this!
My Project
My special education class consists of students from Grades 1-4; all of my students struggle with writing. We write on a daily basis, and having the Phonological Awareness File Folder Game, Word Family Dice, and the three Sentence Building kits would greatly assist my students by having a fun and colorful way of learning how to create a sentence besides the use of pencil and paper.
The donation would assist my special needs students with meeting their IEP goals and Common Core State Standards.
My students need extra support due to their disabilities. This donation would be used for my students for the years to come. This donation would also bring great joy to my students who have an extreme desire to learn how to independently create a sentence (s).
