My Students

Everyone has a favorite story they like to tell, and that is exactly what I want my students to do! I need a variety of writing materials for the classroom in order to educate, enrich, and entice my students through the writing process!

I have a diverse group of students that come from different socioeconomic classes.

My students are a fabulous group of kids!!! Some of these students do not have much support at home, hence the reason the classroom environment is important to help enrich their experiences. I want these students to absolutely love writing stories and I feel the appropriate resources and materials can help them do just that!

My Project

With the addition of the resources, my students will be able to learn each important step of the writing process in a creative manner. The students will benefit in many different areas of writing such as topic sentences,brainstorming, introductions, successful content, conclusions, and publishing. Some of the resources will be used as classroom centers and some will be used through collaborative modeled and guided instruction.

Writing is a process that is not easy for many to understand.

Concepts such as content, organization, ideas and voice can be confusing at times. With the addition of these resources, writing a story can be creative, enjoyable, and a great accomplishment for each and every student!!
