My Students

Do you get excited about learning new information? My students sure do. Each day the non-fiction section of our class library is the most popular of all the genres. For many of the students, they find books they are really interested in but unable to read.

I teach a wonderful group of first graders in New York.

My first grade class loves to learn! Most of the students in my class come from families struggling to make ends meet. My students never let what is happening outside of our classroom effect them. They are some of the most motivated and hard-working students I have ever met.

My Project

Our class is in need of a non-fiction leveled library. If our class is given a library with a variety of non-fiction books ranging in reading levels, the students will be able to read and learn about real people, places and events. They can choose books that appeal to them while giving them a great deal of confidence in their reading ability.

As a teacher, it is my goal to give my students as much knowledge as possible in the short amount of time they are with me.

I want to impact my students as much as possible and with your help we can impact them together. Please help give all of my students the same opportunities to learn. If these students are given the opportunities to succeed they will achieve.
