My students need hand sanitizers, soap and facial tissue in order to have a germ-free classroom and sticker labels so they can easily see their work in the classroom.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My ESOL students are excited and enthusiastic when they come to class! They are open to new learning and are not afraid to try something new. They come from diverse, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. As a cultural and responsive teacher, I use this as an advantage when planning for instructions. Despite the challenges that they face every day, they still come to school to learn and have fun! This is what I always tell my students, we will have fun learning!
My Project
Throughout the school year, it is a challenge to keep my students germ-free and healthy. Children often come to school with colds and cough. After recess, most of them have dirty hands from exploring the world outside. We have a very small classroom and the close contact between each student allows germs to spread very easily. I teach 5-8 groups of children a day. To ensure that germs aren't spread between classes, every surface in our classroom is disinfected before and after each group. We are running out of cleaning supplies and we need your help! Anti-bacterial soap and hand sanitizer will help keep their hands clean. The cleaning supplies and paper towels will keep the classroom surfaces clean. Tissues with lotion will ensure that students won't irritate their skin when blowing their noses. Also, I want my students to easily identify their work by using labels.
