Walls That Inspire Learning

Help me give my students two magnetic whiteboards for our classroom.

My Project

My 5th-grade students are curious, creative, and full of big ideas! Our classroom is a place where students learn best when they can actively participate, collaborate, and see their thinking come to life.

We are requesting two 4' x 8' magnetic whiteboards** to create more interactive learning spaces throughout our classroom.

These large magnetic whiteboards will give students room to work together, solve problems, share ideas, practice new skills, and proudly display their learning.

Instead of having only one small area for students to share their thinking, these boards will allow multiple groups of students to participate at the same time. Students will be able to work through math problems, practice vocabulary and spelling, organize their ideas for writing, explore science concepts, and collaborate during group activities.

Because the boards are magnetic, they will also allow us to use hands-on learning tools such as magnetic letters, numbers, words, shapes, and other manipulatives. This will make learning more engaging and give students opportunities to move, create, and interact with the material.

These two large whiteboards will become an important part of our classroom every single day. They will help turn our walls into spaces for "thinking, creating, collaborating, and learning."
