Wainwright's World Language Collection

Help me give my students a World Language collection of books! I have students constantly asking for books in other languages, particularly Spanish, and I want to provide them with popular titles and dictionaries to support their interests.

My Project

My students are amazing readers who want to find books that get them excited and exploring the world around us! The top five languages, outside of English, that are represented at my school include: Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Pashto, and Vietnamese. Eighty percent of the English Language Learners at my school speak Spanish.

It has been a goal of mine to build up a World Language collection at Wainwright to provide more books in other languages.

Additionally, I believe it's important to provide students with opportunities to explore other cultures and languages, and picture dictionaries can provide a foundation for this. Please help support building a foundation for our World Language collection that will grow over time here in our library!
