Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students can design hundreds of science experiments covering physics, engineering, earth science, chemistry, and biology with one device: the PocketLab Voyager. The device is fully rechargeable via micro USB and communicates with a wireless device (phone, tablet, laptop, or Chromebook computer with built-in Bluetooth 4.0) allowing you to capture a broad range of data.

The Voyager combines 8 popular science sensors into a single portable device to create a science lab that fits in a student's hand.

PocketLab Voyager measures: Acceleration, Angular velocity, Magnetic field, Position (rangefinder), Velocity (rangefinder), Temperature (probe), Temperature (ambient), Barometric pressure, Altitude, Light intensity, Humidity, Dew point, and Heat index!

The requested bearings will assist in many projects that require low-friction rotational motion and the magnets can be used in a variety of applications for measuring magnetic fields and adding magnetic forces to objects!
