Volleyball Team in Need of Volleyballs (and other stuff too!)
Help me give my students volleyball equipment. Somehow all of our volleyballs from last year went missing. My boys varsity volleyball team comes is in a Title 1 school and getting funds to replace equipment has been impossible.
I am a coach in NYC at a Title 1 school. From last year to this one, someone seems to have stolen our volleyballs and most of our equipment, other than the net and poles. This is the second year that I am coaching this team and they have improved so much and the new players are catching on quickly. I am looking to replace our missing volleyballs with regulation balls so that we can practice with the correct weight and size (we have been practicing with the few girls volleyballs left).
My goal is for my team to be well equipped for the season so that they can do well.
These boys are truly special and give it 100% to the team and the sport. I have already purchased uniforms out of my own pocket and need help getting the actual volleyballs.
Also, a book of drills will improve their play and we are hoping to make it to the playoffs this year.
