This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each day during lunch recess I see my students playing volleyball without a net, while they have a great time hitting the volleyball and laughing. I know they would have more fun with an actual net that we can set up outside for them.
The storage unit will be used to help teach the students responsibility, they check out the equipment and must put the equipment away.
My students are always eager to get the one volleyball that we have outside for recess, they usually line up their backpacks or use a crack in the sidewalk to show where the net is. Many of my students are practicing for the next school year when they get to high school and they can try out for the volleyball team.
