This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students I teach are amazing scholars and leaders. My students are determined learners, who care deeply about their community and friends. Everyday, each student is eager to learn more and do more. They challenge themselves to accomplish their goals with pride no matter the obstacle. They speak out against the social injustices they see in their community and organize to act on it.

Each student is unique in their own wonderful way and share their positive qualities in the classroom with determination and character.

My students come from a diverse community that prepares them to become future leaders in our diverse world.

My Project

The materials requested will allow each student to learn how to properly play the sport of volleyball. The supplies requested permits students to learn offensive and defensive methods; like how to spike, serve, pass, and bump a volleyball. This will ensure that when the class begins to play volleyball, they will be able to play with a level of knowledge that keeps the sport fun and interactive. The volleyball net set enables our physical education class to have the option of playing volleyball outside on an open field or inside during inclement weather.
