My Students

You know those students who just can't get enough of learning all they can about a topic. Those are my students. They are in a school populated with high needs and low incomes. They are brave souls who overcome a great deal and show up ready to learn.

My students are mystified, excited and occasionally grossed out by the human body and they love to share what they learn with each other.

They are ready to jump into the world at their fingertips!

They make everyday interesting and fun and I am grateful for the opportunity to spend each day with them.

My Project

The Can Do! Human Body review game that I have chosen would help my 6th grade students review human biology questions written in the state test format but in a fun and competitive way.

I would love to add the Human Body Vocabulary Readers to my diverse reading level classes.

I teach a wide variety of reading levels and many readers for whom English is not their first language.

These books and the Can Do! Human Body game would fit the brief of reading at any level in a clear and concise style. My students would be able to play and review together no matter what reading level they are at.
