This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are between the ages of 7 years and 10 years of age, multicultural, and eager to learn the English language.

They are, however, from low-income families and need all the resources to help them develop the language skills they need to be successful academically.

My school is a Title I school that was affected by the COVID19 pandemic. The ESL students take the TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) test yearly to determine their Language proficiency. The students need snacks during the long and tedious test. We need your help to get some snacks for the students for the test in order to stay focused and have the vitality to complete the test successfully.

Equity Focus
