I have the privilege of working with the ESE students at my school that ranges from Kindergartners to fifth graders! I service SLD, OHI, ASD, and Down syndrome students. They are an inquisitive group who love any opportunity to learn hands on! I teach in a diverse area of Central Florida where my hard-working students come to school every day ready to learn!
My classroom is a place where we are constantly learning.
The students enjoy sharing about themselves and their families. There is a diverse mix of students coming from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Please help me give my students the best education possible!
My Project
The majority of my students benefit from visuals and hands on activities when learning a new skill or concept. Having visuals such as cells, planets, volcanoes, and more will help give them a better understanding of math and science curriculum.
Studies have shown that giving students pertinent visual information, such as a diagram or outline, at the start of a lesson will lead to better understanding of that lesson.
I currently do not have any models to show the students what the inside of our bodies look like.
They do not have the opportunity to actually see the size of an organ or see the locations of the organs in our body. These Models would help to give the students a better understanding of out bodies and the way they function. Please help me give my students the best education possible!
