As a Title I ESE center school serving students with emotional and behavioral disabilities (EBD) and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), many of our learners come to school with unmet needs that influence their behavior and academic focus. Having consistent access to snacks has helped students self-regulate, stay calm, and remain engaged in their work throughout the day.\r\n\r\nBeyond meeting a basic need, your support has helped build trust, comfort, and stability for students who thrive on structure and care. A small snack break often becomes a moment that resets the tone of the day, allowing students to regain control of their emotions and participate more fully in classroom activities. Since receiving the smoothie equipment and supplies, I have been able to incorporate smoothie-making into my curriculum, which has had a profound impact on my students. Not only have they enjoyed the delicious and nutritious smoothies, but they have also learned valuable lessons about healthy eating, nutrition, and the importance of a balanced diet. The hands-on experience of making smoothies in my classroom has engaged my students in a very fun and interactive way, thus enhancing their learning experience. \r\n\r\nYour donation has truly made a difference and blessed my students. The positive impact on my students' health and well-being is immeasurable, and I am excited to continue using the smoothie equipment and supplies to promote healthy habits, teamwork and communication skills. \r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and for helping me create a healthier and more engaging learning environment for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1731529283902,"projectUrl":"project/cooking-vibes-changes-lives/8717445/","projectTitle":"Cooking Vibes Changes Lives","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Merthie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9207453"},{"teacherId":9656984,"projectId":9092674,"letterContent":"This experience has been nothing short of amazing. In my 10 plus years of teaching here at Endeavor School, I have never had the use of soccer goals at my disposal for my students. I have always chosen to set up cones where a net would be to represent a goal. \r\n\r\n My students absolutely have had a blast over the last several weeks of soccer lessons. We practiced shooting the ball into the net after we learned how to pass and dribble the soccer ball. The fact that my students had the opportunity to shoot the ball into a soccer goal for the first time since I've been teaching Physical Education at this school is amazing to me. It was so great to see my Elementary and Developmental students get to celebrate the opportunity to kick the ball into the net instead of between the cones. \r\n\r\n I am planning to put up the volleyball net soon and make use of that as well. I am looking forward to some volleyball lessons soon. Thank you so much for the donation and allowing my students at a center school to have the opportunities.","fullyFundedDate":1731529973797,"projectUrl":"project/volleyball-and-soccer-excitement/8676412/","projectTitle":"Volleyball and Soccer Excitement","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Bowersox","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9689234"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47153","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":99,"numTeachers":12,"percentFrplEligible":81,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":36,"percentWhite":33,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":"8.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":47153,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Endeavor School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Endeavor School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/seminole-county-public-schools/rosenwald-center/47153"}
