This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The word "Math" quickly brings boredom and disinterest to mind. Making math a more enjoyable subject through game playing, video watching, and project based learning will enhance student interest in math.

Through the use of an LCD projector, students will be asked rigorous math questions in videos and/or games that they will solve and answer.

Providing a visual component to math will make math a more exciting topic, and a more competitive one with our game playing, that no student will fall into the temptation of nap time. Providing more visual components will also appeal to learners of all abilities, that no student will fall behind. Competition will motivate the learners to study harder and do better the next time around. Furthermore, students will be able to share their class projects by displaying them on the projector.
