My Students

Open our eyes! Help us embrace technology in our classroom, through the incorporation of a document camera.

Our class has a multitude of learning abilities.

We have 35 students, 10 of which are gifted, 2 are autistic and all are amazing. We live in a small rural town in Arizona. Our school is Title I, and most of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch and are unable to visualize and conceptualize due to a lack of experiences.

My Project

The use of a document camera will allow for an increase in learning time and the ability to meet the needs of more students simultaneously. This device will enable students to be able to share and learn from each other while assessing the content. My students will for the first time be able to incorporate technology into their day to day learning.

At a time when technology is crucial for the advancement of children and the U.S.A.

the implementation of this simple device will open the door to a multitude of learning opportunities. My students live in an area of low social economic status. Through the use of a document camera I will be able to open their eyes to the entire world.
