My Project

I teach kindergarten inclusion, which means about half of my students receive special education services. Many of them struggle with transitions within and outside of the classroom.

One way we assist in keeping them calm during transitions is through the use of visual timers and visual schedules.

This project is for two different visual schedules that can be used with individual students, or the class as a whole. Students can see what activities they have accomplished and which ones they still have to do. The visual timers allow students to see how much time they have left before another activity starts or the one they're enjoying ends.
