My students need two Chromebooks and Chromebook sleeve protectors for twenty-first century learning in the classroom.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My fourth grade classroom in Ohio is comprised of approximately forty, amazing students, many of whom come from bilingual households and receive free breakfast and lunch.
It is important to me they are afforded a classroom environment which promotes learning and well-being.
The learning environment that I hope to create for my students is one that inspires them to succeed and supports them every step of the way. My fourth grade students come to school each day, often times bringing their home lives with them. I spend a great deal of time throughout the year, creating a strong sense of classroom community. My students not only rely on me to support them in their learning and serve as a positive role model in their lives, but they have come to rely on one another through the positive relationships they have formed.
With technology being such an integral part of education today, I hope that through your donation, I am able to provide my students with Chromebooks which will be used on a daily basis in small group settings. Students will utilize these Chromebooks to access an individualized reading program where they engage in online assessment and instruction. We also look forward to using these Chromebooks for various writing projects as well as for researching topics.
With these Chromebooks, my students will be able to practice keyboarding skills as they prepare for state assessments.
These Chromebooks will improve my classroom by providing my students with a more individualized pathway to learning, one that can be completed at their own pace and throughout each school day. These Chromebooks will allow me to further engage my students in the learning process. In addition, we will use the protector sleeves to care for our Chromebooks.
