My Students

I teach Spotlight (gifted and talented) students. I love working with these children because they are constantly curious about new ideas and projects. They thrive with challenges and can be very passionate about their views and ideas. We spend the year learning science through art.

I thoroughly enjoy seeing the excitement on my students' faces when they discover something new and unexpected.

Any new idea helps to inspire them to look deeper into a subject. They are hard-working and love opportunities to try new and exciting things!

My Project

After using this device, I realized how incredible they would be in a classroom, especially for the wonderfully curious students in Spotlight. I believe this kind of technology provides children with an opportunity to “experience” places or animals that they would normally have to imagine.

Understanding how big a blue whale can be is one thing but SEEING its sheer size as a blue whale swims by you… that’s unforgettable.

What a wonderful way for students to connect to classroom content! Students will be able to go on virtual field trips to historic sites, explore marine animals, and actually view live versions of famous paintings!
