After using this device, I realized how incredible they would be in a classroom, especially for the wonderfully curious students in Spotlight. I believe this kind of technology provides children with an opportunity to “experience” places or animals that they would normally have to imagine. Understanding how big a blue whale can be is one thing but SEEING its sheer size as a blue whale swims by you… that’s unforgettable. What a wonderful way for students to connect to classroom content! Students will be able to go on virtual field trips to historic sites, explore marine animals, and actually view live versions of famous paintings!
